MANIALTEPEC LAGOON TOUR
Let’s get ready to enjoy an encounter with nature in one of the spectacular lagoons on the coast called Manialtepec. This excursion will take us to know a natural secret kept in Puerto Escondido, where we will explore the mangrove labyrinths of the lagoon and observe a variety of birds. Leaving from the hotels within the urban area of Puerto Escondido we will head towards the community of Las Negras with an approximate time of 25 minutes, where there is a natural charm called Manialtepec lagoon, a wonderful natural refuge for multiple species of migratory birds, where we will board a boat to explore the spectacular labyrinths formed by mangroves where various birds are sheltered. We will be surprised by the natural wealth that we will find in this wetland of great importance worldwide.
During the boat tour of the lagoon of approximately 2 hours on board, we will observe the dense vegetation from the boat and appreciate the tropical ecosystem that attracts a large amount of fauna such as: herons, iguanas, ibis, ducks and parrots, but this The lagoon is not only full of animals and plants, but also of mysteries and legends based on the testimonies of the local inhabitants. We continue with the return tour and will end by moving to the hotels.
