BIOLUMINISCENCE & TURTLE RELEASE
We begin the adventure with two activities that Mother Nature offers us, the first of them is the turtle release activity, we will go to a turtle camp, a magical place where we will live the first unforgettable experience since we will be in contact with one of the animals marine turtles in danger of extinction, the turtle that exists 8 species of which 3 live on the Oaxacan coast, we will have the opportunity to help and return some of them newborns to their natural habitat and we will visualize a unique sunset on the beach as a setting. We will continue the tour visiting the most important places in Puerto Escondido, the viewpoints, Zicatela and the Adoquinado, making stops to take photos and appreciate the unique cultural atmosphere of the area.
Later we will arrive at the Manialtepec lagoon where we will live the second experience, we will board a boat that will take us into the lagoon to observe the wonderful phenomenon of Bioluminescence, this occurs thanks to the microorganisms known as dinoflagellates, a species of marine plankton or phytoplankton that It comes from the sea and reproduces in these calm waters. This spectacular phenomenon occurs in certain natural conditions because the lagoon naturally traps these tiny beings that enter with the growing sea and remain trapped in it for a long time until nature releases them again by breaking the natural barriers.
