This five-day and four-night excursion has been created specifically for those interested in knowing more about the culture of the Yucatan Peninsula. An excursion that transports us to the past to learn more about a Great Civilization: Los Mayas.
DAY 01. CANCUN / TULUM / KOHUNLICH / XPUJIL
Departure from Cancun to Chetumal, on the way you will visit the archaeological zone of Tulum, built in front of the Caribbean Sea having as protection a great wall. As the second-largest reef in the world, also considered one of the last Mayan cities, which collapsed in 1600 AD. After the visit, you will continue to the archaeological zone of Kohunlich, in this site you will find beautiful stucco masks and the ball game. Lodging in Xpujil.
DAY 02. CHICANNA / BECAN / CASCADAS MISOL - HA / PALENQUE
Breakfast. Early in the morning, we will visit Chicanná famous for its decorations of zoo form figures and for still presenting color on the walls of some of its buildings. We continue to the archaeological zone of Becán, which means in Mayan: Barranca, a name that refers to the moat that surrounds the central part of the area, later we will move to the impressive Misol-Ha Waterfalls, where you can swim in them. At the end of the visit, you will continue to Palenque and accommodation.
DAY 03. PALENQUE / CAMPECHE
Breakfast Departure to visit the archaeological zone of Palenque, a mysterious place nestled in the mountains of Chiapas. The impressive thing about this area is the famous Pakal’s Tomb, designed specifically for his death, at the end of it, we will continue towards the city of Campeche, a beautiful City of Pirates. DAY 04. CAMPECHE / EDZNA / UXMAL / MERIDA
Breakfast. Depart from Campeche to visit the archaeological zone of Edzná and its impressive building, where once again the acoustics of its buildings is checking. You will continue to the state of Yucatán to visit one of the most beautiful Mayan cities for its decoration: Uxmal, finally you will visit the beautiful white city of Merida. Accommodation.
DAY 05. MERIDA / CHICHEN-ITZA / CANCUN
Breakfast. Depart Mérida to continue your visit to one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World: CHICHEN ITZA, a place where the Mayans combine their knowledge to fascinate us every six months with the famous spring and autumn equinox in which they show us the descent of Kukulcán to fertilize the land. At the end of the visit, you will continue to Cancun to drop you off at your respective hotels.
