CITY TOUR

The tour begins walking through the municipal palace, just in front of the Plaza Mayor, admire its baroque architecture in the historic center. We will visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, built in 1649, just a few years before the metropolitan one. Then you will visit the chapel of the Virgen del Rosario, which is located next to the Santo Domingo temple, once called ‘La Casa de Oro’ (House of Gold). You will walk through its streets full of flavors and colors and history such as the street of sweets, famous for the artisan variety and rich in these delicacies, we will continue with the ‘El Parian’ handicraft market, formerly the San Roque square, the perfect place to buy handicrafts of various styles and materials. While you walk through the historic center you will solve the CROSSWORD that we will give you with the information that you will learn from our guide. 

You will visit the zocalo of the city, the cathedral with the highest towers of cathedrals on the continent and recognized for its sculptural, pictorial, musical and documentary heritage that it protects, the Rosario chapel named the eighth wonder of the world, covered almost entirely with gold, the municipal palace, the street of sweets (where you can discover the great variety of delicacies created by the nuns of the convents of Puebla), El Barrio del Artista (The neighborhood of the Artist) and the El Parian craft market.
