DAY 01. ARRIVAL TRANSFER

Welcome at Morelia airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.

DAY 02. MAGIC TOWNS

Breakfast. You will visit part of the wonders offered by Morelia, Michoacán in which you will visit three Magic Towns starting with the magical town of Tzintzuntzan which means “Place of hummingbirds” where we will visit the Yácatas, archaeological zone of the Purépecha empire. Then you will go through the magnificent former Franciscan convent whose construction dates back to the 16th century with its atrium of olive trees, open chapel and holy burial. Later you will know the first magical town registered in Morelia, Michoacán. Its name means “Where are the stones (the gods) at the entrance of where the blackness is made” which we know as Patzcuaro, where you will see the Basilica, Mural de Juan O Gorman in the Public Library, Don Vasco Square House of the Eleven Patios, El Sagrario and the old School of San Nicolás Obispo. And to close this excelente tour, you will visit the magical town of Santa Clara del Cobre to see the very valuable Copper Museum, participate with the artisans in the beating and have free time to make purchases in stores. Return to hotel and lodging.

DAY 03. NOCHE DE ANIMAS

Meet at the meeting point at 18:45 hours
Breakfast. We will witness the traditional night of the Day of the Dead in Michoacán in which we will start visiting Tupátaro, in this small town we will visit the Sistine Chapel of Michoacán with its XVI century historic sky and gold-plated altarpiece. We will also be part of the Atole Fair where you can taste the varied and different flavors of this drink. Departure to Cuanajo and arrival. The festivity in this town lies in the offering of the Caballito. It is a wooden horse with flowers, bread, fruit, which is offered to the soul to take on his return to the underworld. We will visit 3 family homes where we will learn about their traditions. It is suggested to bring an offering to the family. Departure to San Pedrito Pier Arrival at the pier for transfer by boat to Pacanda Island. We will have a panoramic view of the butterfly fishermen on the island of Janitzio without getting off the boat. We continue to La Pacanda. Arrival to the island and walk to the cemetery of the island. We will respectfully visit this cemetery that still keeps its traditions of vigil to their souls. With the ringing of the bells at midnight begins the transfer of the offerings from the houses to the cemetery. Return to the dock to embark. Arrival to Ucasanástacua to the dock and transfer to Arocutin. Visit to the Arocutin Cemetery. The only one that still has its cemetery inside the atrium of the church. Around 04:00 hrs. return to Morelia

Breakfast. Free day . Accommodation

DAY 05. DERARTURE TRANSFER

Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board the flight back home.
