COMMUNITIES AND CITY TOUR SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

We will depart towards the Indigenous Communities of Chiapas visiting the Tzotzil ethnic group; departing first to the community of Chamula, to understand the fusion of contemporary traditions and Mayan ancestral characteristics that identify this place and the state of Chiapas. Later, we will follow the indigenous community of Zinacantan, where we will visit the church and the house of a family cooperative, where we will be received with a regional drink and observe how the women work the waist loom of pre-Columbian eras. After seeing the samples of what they produce, they will offer us to go to their kitchen, where if we are lucky, they will invite us to taste handmade tortillas. When we finished, we will return to San Cristóbal de Las Casas and a City Tour will be done in this beautiful city of the state of Chiapas. Rest of the day free.
