In this route of the colonial times, there is no better way to experience the traditions of Mexico City, Queretaro, Guadalajara and Morelia; you will enjoy their cobbled alleys, underground streets, the mommies museum, religious sanctuaries, Tequila, caverns and so much more, not to mention the wonderful ending at beautiful Acapulco. 

Departures to San Miguel de Allende on Wednesdays, pax must be arriving at least two days before.

Day 01-(MON) ARRIVAL TRANSFER

Welcome at the Mexico City’s “Benito Juarez” international airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice and accommodation.

Day 02 (TUE) MEXICO CITY

Breakfast. We will start our city tour visiting the Cultural and Historic Heritage downtown district where we will find the National Palace and its beautiful murals painted by the great muralist Diego Rivera, the constitution square or “Zocalo”, the Main Aztec Temple and the Metropolitan Cathedral as well assome of the main avenues. Later, we will visit Chapultepec Park and one ofthe most important Residential areas of Mexico City, and the “Pink Zone”. Overnight. 

Day 03.(WED)MÉXICO, D.F. - QUERETARO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Breakfast. Departure to Querétaro, a cultural and historic heritage site tovisit the Aqueduct, the Convent of the crosses and its Historic Downtowndistrict; Continue to San Miguel de Allende, also declared as cultural and historic heritage site, where many intellectuals and artists live. Visiting San Miguel‘s Parish church with the Holy House Chapel, the Inquisitor’s House, the San Francisco church and the Allende’s house. You will enjoy a great varietyof handicrafts stores, restaurants and bars. Overnight.

Day 04. (THU) SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - DOLORES HIDALGO - GUANAJUATO

Breakfast. Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810, the father Don Miguel Hidalgo, began the Independence war. Also José Alfredo Jimenez, oneof the most famous musician composers, was born here. Continue to spectacularGuanajuato, another cultural and historic heritage site of humanity. Overnight.

Day 05 (FRI) GUANAJUATO - GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. In the morning we will visit this fabulous city, full of beautifulcolonial alleys and plazas, the University, the Juarez Theater, the Kissing Alley and the Diego Rivera‘s house amongst others; Its streets and subterranean avenues are one of a kind in the country. Other attractions are the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, the Museum of Don Quixote and the museum of the Mommies. Then we travel to the Lion City, famous for the manufacture of footwear, hence depart to San Juan de los lagos one of the most famous religious sactuary; then Guadalajara, where tequila and mariachis were born. Overnight.

Day 06- (SAT) GUADALAJARA - TEQUILA - TLAQUEPAQUE - GUADALAJARA

Breakfast. Departure to the *Tequila* region, that is also a cultural andhistoric heritage site; at the Amatitlán village visitors will go to the one of thecountry‘s best Tequila distilleries, to see the whole manufacturing tequilaprocess. After this visit, we con-tinue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque, where itsinhabitants are dedicated to glassblowing manufacturing and all kinds ofhandicrafts. Overnight.

Day 07- (SUN) GUADALAJARA - PATZCUARO - MORELIA

Breakfast. In the morning we leave early to Tonalá and craft market. We will continue to Patzcuaro, visiting en route Vicente Fernandez Ranch called “Los Tres Potrillos”, the entrance is subject to availability and permission by their guards as it is a private property; we will visit the restaurant for lunch on your own and its store considered “the world’s largest cowboy store. Pátzcuaro, which is famous for its colonial beauty and its unique traditions; Continue on to Morelia, a Cultural and Historic Heritage site, worldwide known for its student habitat and its magnificent colonial buildings of *pink cantera*: such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Clavijero Palace, the Major Plaza, the market of typical candies, the Aqueduct, and the Guadalupita Temple at San Diego Convent with its majestic Indian baroque décor. Overnight.

Day 08- (MON) MORELIA - CACAHUAMILPA - TAXCO

Breakfast. Early in the morning departure to Cacahuamilpa town, where we enters to the famous Caves of Cacahuamilpa, considered the second largest in the world, continued to Taxco and city tour including the visit to some silverware, the Temple of Santa Prisca and the Museum of the Silver. Overnight.

Day 09- (TUE) TAXCO - ACAPULCO

Breakfast. We will depart to the paradise port of Acapulco; arrival and accommodation at the hotel of your choice. Afternoon free.

Day 10- (WED) ACAPULCO

Breakfast. Acapulco city day at leisure. Overnight.

Day 11- (THU) DEPARTURE TRANSFER

Breakfast. At the time indicated, transfer to the airport to board your returnflight home.
