CITY TOUR & TRANVIA

We will have a panoramic tour by tram through the historic center and we will also admire the incomparable view of the Forts of Loreto and Guadalupe, site where the Battle of May 5th took place. At the end of the panoramic tour, we will start the pedestrian tour where we will visit the Amparo Museum, one of the largest in Latin America that has a large collection of pre-Hispanic pieces and contemporary art. Next, you will visit the Palafoxian Library declared by UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and recognized on the continent for preserving its building, bookshelves and original heritage that it protects.

Discover why Puebla was named a UNESCO World Heritage City. Walk through the Historic Center: the city’s Zocalo, the Cathedral (with the highest cathedral towers on the continent and renowned for its sculptural, pictorial, musical and documentary heritage), the Rosario Chapel (named the eighth wonder of the world, almost entirely covered in gold), the Municipal Palace, the street of sweets (where you can discover the great variety of delicacies created by the nuns of the Puebla Convents) and the El Parian craft market.
