TAXCO AND CACAHUAMILPA CAVES FROM MEXICO CITY

09:00 Hrs At the beginning of the morning.
We will leave Mexico City towards the town of Cacahuamilpa, where we will enter the famous Cacahuamilpa Caves, considered the second largest in the world, inside the cave, there are tunnels with a length of up to 10 Km. Its natural formations form faces, faces, and figures, such as the views in the halls of the goat, the throne, the fountain, the palms, and the cathedral. Later we will visit a replica of a mine to learn about the importance of mining in the colonial economy and course today. Taxco is considered the City of Silver, thanks to the fact that it became one of the first royal mines more than 400 years ago.
You will then continue your experience with a walk through the emblematic streets of the city until you reach the famous church of Santa Prisca, where you can appreciate its architectural style called “Churrigueresque or Balbesian” baroque. The guide will tell you about the interesting history of the church and especially about the man who made its construction possible and who was considered the richest man in New Spain. You will also have time to explore the many silver shops that are characteristic of this region or simply enjoy some free time walking before boarding your transport and returning to Mexico City.
At approximately 21:00 hrs. we arrive in Mexico City.
