You will explore the land of Tequila, the Tapatia Pearl: Guadalajara (and surroundings), next Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende, and ending this iconic experience passing by Queretaro and the iconic Mexico City.
Passenger must arrive in Guadalajara City at least on Monday, because visits to Tequila begin on Tuesday.
DAY 01. (MON) ARRIVAL TRANSFER AT GUADALAJARA CITY
Reception at the international airport of Guadalajara City, transfer to the hotel of your choice and lodging.
DAY 02. (TUE) GUADALAJARA / TEQUILA / TLAQUEPAQUE / GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. In the morning departure to the region “Tequila”; name of the ancient and famous Mexican drink. In the town of Amatitlan, you will visit one of the best distilleries of this drink and where you can see its production process. At the end of this visit, we will continue to San Pedro Tlaquepaque; in a town near Guadalajara and that today is part of the same city. The inhabitants of this place are dedicated to the manufacture of blown glass in addition to finding spectacular handicrafts of all kinds. Return to Guadalajara. Lodging.
DAY 03. (WED) GUADALAJARA / GUANAJUATO
Breakfast. We will visit the Degollado Theatre, the Cathedral, the Roundabout of Illustrious Men, the Government Palace with the splendid murals by Orozco, the Tapatía Square and a panoramic view of the Hospicio Cabañas declared Cultural Heritage Site. In the afternoon, continue to Guanajuato; arrival at the hotel and lodging.
DAY 04. (THU) GUANAJUATO / SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Breakfast. Visit of this beautiful colonial city Cultural Heritage of Humanity, annual venue of the Cervantino International Festival. We will enjoy getting to know this beautiful city, full of picturesque and narrow alleys and squares, which offers us such interesting places as the University, the Juarez Theater, the Kiss Alley, the house-museum of the muralist Diego Rivera, husband of Frida Kahlo. Its underground streets and avenues are unique in the country, the house of Jorge Negrete, the Quijote museum and the famous mummy museum. In the afternoon, we will continue to San Miguel de Allende; recently named cultural heritage of humanity. Arrival and visit of the city, which has beautiful and spectacular colonial mansions and its Neo-Gothic Parish, unique in Mexico and symbol of this beautiful colonial city. Lodging.
DAY 05. (FRI) SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE / QUERETARO / MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. Departure by road to Querétaro, historical and cultural city, a World Heritage Site, which was very important during the Independence War. In the afternoon return to Mexico City. Arrival at the hotel and lodging.
DAY 06. (SAT) MEXICO CITY
Breakfast. We will start the City Tour by visiting the historic center; cultural heritage of humanity, as well as the National Palace (panoramic), the Plaza de la Constitution or Zocalo, the Aztec Main Temple, and the Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as its main avenues. Later we will visit the Chapultepec Forest and one of the most famous residential areas, as well as the Zona Rosa. Arrival at the hotel and lodging.
DAY 07. (SUN) TRANSFER OUT OF MEXICO CITY / BUS TO GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. At the time indicated, transfer to the bus terminal to take a bus to Guadalajara (7 hours of route approximately). Transfer to the hotel of your choice in Guadalajara. Lodging.
DAY 08. (MON) TRANSFER OUT GUADALAJARA
Breakfast. At the time indicated, transfer to the airport to board your return flight home. End of our services.
