POTTERY WORK SHOP

We will learn the traditional pottery typical of the state of Chiapas visiting Amatenango del Valle, located 20 min. from the city of San Cristóbal, is a picturesque community that goes from the typical dress of Chiapas of its women with blue skirts, red skirt, white huipil embroidered in red and yellow and touched, to the wonderful creations of pottery like jaguars, Pigeons, pots, bowls, pots, among others. We will arrive at a workshop where these precious pieces of Pottery are made, the experts will give us an explanation of the mud processes, creation of the pieces, burnishing (correction of imperfections), burning and painting of the pieces. At the end you will have the opportunity to choose a piece of pottery workshop between pot, bowl or small pot so that it is decorated with paint for you and remain as a souvenir from the state of Chiapas for all.
