PALENQUE - BONAMPAK - YAXCHILAN - PALENQUE

We will leave Palenque for Frontera Corozal de Chiapas, where we will embark approximately for an hour downstream to visit the mystic archaeological site of Yaxchilán, a place recognized due to the quality of sculptures that are found in it. After Yaxchilán we will continue with the visit of Bonampak. Its name means “Painted Walls”, and in this lies the fame of this site, since on the walls of the Bonampak precincts are the best preserved paintings of the Mayan World, this is the most remarkable of archaeological Chiapas. Later, we will return to Palenque.
