ORIZABA MAGIC TOWN AND CORDOBA FROM VERACRUZ
Heading to the center of the state of Veracruz we arrive at Orizaba, a modern city that was founded in the time of the Colony, a place known as the Plusviosilla. Here, we will visit the old municipal palace of Art Nouveau style, a beautiful iron structure manufactured in Belgium at the end of the XIX century. It was transported by boat to later be armed in Orizaba. We will also visit the Cathedral of San Miguel Arcangel, where we continue with a panoramic tour to board the Cable Car. Here, we will take a walk in the majestic landscape of this colonial city. Then, we will arrive at Cerro del Borrego with its site museum. After that, we will go to the Poliforum Cultural, architectural work of medieval style surrounded by beautiful gardens. In its different rooms, there are exhibitions and works of art by great characters and the famous composer Cri-Cri.
Our next visit is Cordoba, also known as “the City of the 30 Knights” who were the founders of this colonial place full of history, the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral “De la Inmaculada Concepcion” with its main altar in gold, we will walk to the favorite currently House of Culture, where Iturbide, Maximiliano, Benito Juarez, and Madero were guests without missing the famous “Portal de Ceballos” declared a National Monument for its architecture and for serving as the headquarters for the signing of the treaties that ended the War of Independence. There is no doubt that it will be a journey between aromas, taste, beautiful landscapes, exquisite gastronomy, colonial architecture, and a provincial atmosphere in these cities considered the oldest in our country.
