TOUR HIERVE EL AGUA & PUEBLO ZAPOTECA
The water boils, where the spectacular petrified waterfalls formed thousands of years ago stand out, one 30 m high and another 12 m, formed by the carbonated water that falls from springs located at the top of the rocks. Numerous archaeologists, biologists and geologists have gathered at Hierve el Agua, as it is a site where a complex irrigation system was built more than 2,500 years ago, of which important vestiges still exist. You will be able to enjoy enough time to swim in the natural pools formed by water sources and delight in the impressive landscape that the Sierra Madre del Sur offers you.We continue with the tour where the agave plantations will be flooded with green color, with which the production of a typical drink from the state of Oaxaca “EL MEZCAL” is carried out.You will be able to learn about the process through a visit to a Mezcal factory, where you will enjoy some of the different flavors offered, leaving a good taste in your mouth. At this time you will enjoy a delicious Oaxacan lunch.
