We invite you to discover the essentials of Mexico through two of its main cities: the capital of Mexico and one of its best known beaches, Cancun. You will discover the impressive and enigmatic archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, the Basilica of Guadalupe, which is the most important temple of the Guadalupano site since 1976. Finally, you will relax on the beautiful beaches of Cancun, with beautiful landscapes and sunsets; Before saying goodbye, we will visit the archaeological zone of Tulum, next to the sea!
DAY 01. TRANSFER IN MEXICO CITY
Reception at the Mexico City “Benito Juárez” international airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice, and lodging.
DAY 02. MEXICO CITY – CITY TOUR
Breakfast. We will visit the Historical downtown district that is a UNESCO world heritage site, the Zocalo, the panoramic of the Aztec Major Temple & the National Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Reforma Boulevard, the Chapultepec Park, the most glamorous residential districts of the city, and the Zona Rosa (Pink Zone). It is also a “must” tour to get acquainted with our city. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
DAY 03. MEXICO CITY – GUADALUPE SHRINE AND THE TEOTIHUACAN PYRAMIDS
Breakfast. We will start our tour by visiting the Plaza de las three cultures, where the past and the present are mixed, from there we will continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the citadel and the avenue of the dead. We will also visit a craft workshop where that includes information about handicrafts of obsidian and jade and a local traditional drinks elaboration (Including tasting of Mezcal, Tequila, and Pulque), Upon returning to the city, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of America. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
DAY 04. MEXICO CITY - CANCUN
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport of Mexico City “Benito Juárez”, to board the flight to the paradisiac beach of Cancun (Domestic flight is not included). Reception at the Cancun international airport, transfer to the hotel of your choice, and lodging.
DAY 05. CANCUN – TULUM Y XEL-HA ALL INCLUSIVE
Breakfast. Visit the archaeological site of Tulum, build in the top of a Hill on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, this area flourished at the end of the post-classical era and contains buildings dating back to the 12th century. It was one of the most important commercial ports of the time and one of the few Maya cities that were still inhabited when the Spanish arrived. The excursion starts between 07:00 a.m. to 08:00 a.m., our guide will take you around this archaeological zone and will talk about the Mayan history in Tulum, as well as its buildings such as the Castle, the temple of the masks and the temple of the god Chac. Then we will go to the natural cove “Xel Ha”, called like this due to the union of the fresh waters of the underground rivers and the salty waters of the Caribbean Sea. Inside the water park, we will enjoy the all-inclusive package. We will leave Xelha at 5:00 p.m. to head back to Cancun. Return to the hotel. Lodging.
DAY 6. CANCUN – FREE DAY
Breakfast. Free day for personal activities; we recommend taking an optional Mexitours style tour. Lodging.
DAY 7. CANCUN – STARTING LOCATION
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take your flight back home. End of the services.
