MONARCH BUTTERFLY

This small insect, no more than two grams weight, travels more than four thousand kilometers from Canada to the oyamel woods at the east of Michoacan to stay for the winter at its south house and start the return at the beginning of the spring. A wonder of the nature that is Human Natural Heritage.

In our tour we will visit the El Rosario Reserve, or,Sierra Chincua Reserve ( only one) doing a 1.5 km uphill hike, where, in addition to visiting the butterflies, you will fall in love with the forest. We have a contemplation time of 45 minutes of the butterfly phenomenon and then we return to the base of the mountain for lunch time, then we return to Morelia.
