At 7:00 a.m., we will begin our exciting adventure from vibrant Mexico City to the charming viceregal jewel of San Miguel de Allende. During the next 4 hours, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Mexican landscape, passing through the city of Querétaro; declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, playing a fundamental role in the history of Mexico, which makes the visit a journey through time.

We will marvel at the imposing Aqueduct, a monumental work of 74 arches that rises to 28.5 m in height and extends along 1,280 m, we will visit the historic Ex-Convento de la Cruz, protagonist of crucial events in the history of Mexico, from being Miguel Domínguez’s prison during the Independence to being the headquarters of Maximilian of Habsburg and protecting the legendary “tree of crosses”, planted in 1697 by Fray Antonio Margil de Jesús.

We will explore the charms of the Historic Center, home to more than 1,400 historical monuments and architectural jewels from the 17th and 18th centuries.

Our journey continues to San Miguel de Allende, a city that stands as a viceregal treasure and has been recognized six times as the “Best Small City in the World” in the “Readers’ Choice Awards” and was also declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Its cobblestone streets will lead us to the picturesque Plaza Principal, through its mansions where points of interest stand out such as the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel, an architectural icon of neo-Gothic style, the Chapel of the Holy House of Loreto dedicated to the veneration of Saint John the Baptist, the Church of San Francisco with its eclectic façade of different architectural styles, the House of Mayorazgo de la Canal and the Museum House of Ignacio Allende, which offer a fascinating immersion in the history of Mexico and these spectacular mansions.
