GREEN BEATS IN CELESTÚN

Celestún, a natural paradise in the Gulf of Mexico, is located 90 km from the city of Mérida. This biosphere reserve is located in a coastal corridor of wetlands that presents the best state of conservation in the west of the peninsula. Mangroves, dunes, petenes, lowland jungle and grasslands protect the processes of natural evolution, considered the “green heartbeat” of this ecosystem.
All this can be appreciated on a boat ride through the estuary, with an approximate duration of one hour and fifteen minutes. During the tour, we will visit the feeding area of various birds, such as flamingos, and we will enter the mangrove trails aboard the boat to discover this ecosystem with a unique balance.
