TOURISTIC TRAM RIDE

This tour is carried out in ‘El Quijote’, touristic Tram number 100 in Mexico or in the Locomotive, in which we travel through part of the historical center, downtown area and the periphery of the city. In its path we will know and mention places of cultural and historical importance that make Guanajuato a beautiful city. You start in Plaza de la Paz an introduction of the city and buildings around it. Traveling aboard the unit, you will pass through several attractions and places of interest, providing an explanation of these, such as the Basilica of Our Lady of Guanajuato, the central building of the UG, the Count Rul of Valenciana house, the Lucas Alamán house, the Museum of the 3 Powers, the house of Diego Rivera, the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, also an underground street and typical mining tunnel, the Glorieta Cervantina, the Paseo de la Presa making a descent to taste typical sweets and liquors of the region, the School Normal, the Presa de la Olla, the Temple of the Assumption, the Temple of San Sebastián, the house of Juan Silveti, Padre Belaunzaran street, the Monument to Don Quijote and Sancho Panza, the house where Jorge Negrete was born, the Principal Theater, the house of Emma Godoy, the Plazuela del Baratillo, the Temple of the Company of Jesus. Ending again in the center of the city (Plaza de la Paz).

Notes: The ride starts and ends in the center, so tourists must go to this site to take it. The Tourist Tram service can be suspended or change the route without prior notice, before any activity or event, either in the Plaza de la Paz or along its route, this by instruction of the Mobility or Public Security authorities.
