In the north of our country is hidden one of the mos spectacular escenaries in the world: the Copper Canyon. Departing from Chihuahua or Los Mochis, you will amaze yourself with the landscapes that you will see on yor path thought the Taraumara Mountain range onboard the Turistic Train “El Chepe”. You will visit towns full of history, culture, nature, traditions and gastronomy, unique and totally different to the rest of our country.
DAY 01. CHIHUAHUA
Meet & greet at Chihuahua International Airport and transfer to your hotel. After check – in, if your flight arrives before 14:00 hrs, you will be taken for a city tour featuring the city’s Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Revolution Museum, originally the Home of Pancho Villa, outlaw and hero of the Mexican Revolution; the Regional Museum (Quinta Gameros) and the Colonial Aqueduct. Rest of the day leisure. (museums are closed on Mondays, entrance not included)
DAY 02. CHIHUAHUA / CREEL
07:30 hrs. Road transfer to Creel a lumber town located in the pine forest, arrival at 11:30 hrs. Approx. and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon we’ll take a trip around Creel, visiting the Arareco Lake, Misión de San Ignacio, Valle de los Hongos, Valle de las Ranas, and a Tarahumara cave. Dinner and lodge.
DAY 03. CREEL / BARRANCAS
Breakfast. Transfer to Ferromex station at Creel at 09:00 hrs. where we’ll take the train to the world-famous Copper Canyon, arriving at 10:55 hrs. Transfer to your hotel and lunch. In the afternoon we’ll take a walk around different tourist viewing-point. Dinner & lodge.
DAY 04. BARRANCAS / BAHUICHIVO
Breakfast. In the morning we recommend you visit the Parque de Aventura’s Barrancas del Cobre (Copper Canyon Adventure Park) where you can enjoy the amazing aerial tramway ride and zip-line (activities not included). At 13:00 we’ll take road to Bahuichivo. We’ll arrive at 13:50 and from there you will be transferred to your hotel in Cerocahui. Lunch. 15:00 hrs. Tour to Gallego Mountain “Viewpoint of Urique”. Dinner & lodge.
DAY 05. BAHUICHIVO-LOS MOCHIS
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station at 12:25 hrs. departure on Chepe Express tourist class to continue to Los Mochis. Arrival at 17:40 hrs. and will be taken to your hotel and lodge.
DAY 06. LOS MOCHIS
Your adventure to the Copper Canyon comes to a happy end with your transfer to the airport (depending on the time of your flight).
