CITY WITH SAN JUAN DE ULUA FROM VERACRUZ
San Juan De Ulua: One of the oldest fortresses in the American Continent to which great events in the history of our country are linked during the Colony, Independence, Reform, and Revolution. In addition to that, it has had several functions throughout its more than 500 years of existence. First, it was used as a grain store, then it was a fortress, a prison, and a presidential residence. It’s a place full of history that takes us back to the past.
Then, we will visit: Veracruz Port and Boca Del Rio: We will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city, to see the main points of interest such as the buildings of the Old Maritime Customs and the current building of the First Navy Region of Mexico, the Telegraph building, and railways built in the Porfiriato Era. We will also visit the Plaza de Armas, the civil registry, the cathedral, the Malecon promenade, the Baluarte de Santiago, and the famous Huaca neighborhood.
We continue our journey along the coastal boulevard until we reach Boca del Río, with its modern hotel infrastructure, beautiful beaches, and the gastronomic corridor on the banks of the Jamapa River, Plaza de Armas, Plaza Banderas, the Church of Our Lady of Santa Ana of the century XVI that is celebrated in the month of July, and the Municipal Palace. We will finish our tour tasting an exquisite drink typical of this place.
