TULUM EXPLORER - CENOTE FROM CANCUN

Tulum was an important Mesoamerican center that exhibited both Mayan and Toltec influences. Tulum was an important religious and commercial center between the 11th and 16th centuries, with a spectacular location near the sea, and is one of the most evocative ancient places in Mexico. This archaeological zone was built on top of a cliff on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, it was also an important commercial port, one of the few Mayan cities that was still inhabited when the Spanish arrived. In this archaeological zone, you will learn a little about Mayan history, as well as its constructions, the Castle, the temple of the masks, and that of the god Chac.
