CHICHEN ITZA REGULAR FROM CANCUN OR RIVIERA MAYA
First stop in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula to discover a cavernous and picturesque cenote pool at Hubiku, where you can learn how these jungle-fringed pools are formed from underground freshwater streams.
Then visit the legendary Mayan city of Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988 and one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World since 2007, founded in 514 BC which excelled as the cultural and political center of the ancient Mayan civilization and was one of the largest settlements in the north-central Yucatan peninsula.
Here, you will immerse yourself in the most impressive parts of the archaeological site. Marvel at the mysterious pyramid of Kukualkán and learn about its role in the Mayan Civilization and the largest ball court in the Americas where the ancient Maya played the exciting game of Pok ta Pok.
Before finishing the tour, we will stop at the main square of Valladolid, where you can admire its colonial architecture, the 16th-century Church of San Gervasio.
