TOUR THROUGH THE CHACAHUA LAGOON

Enjoy this wonderful adventure leaving from Puerto Escondido until arrive in a community called Zapotalito, a little town of fishers, a magical place once you enter in one of the most spectacular lagoons of the Oaxacan coast called Chacahua. In this town you will aboard a boat to travel the warm waters of the lagoon, admire the mangroves and observe within the boat the islands of: Las culebras, El Cura, Nana Jacinta and Pañuelas, each one with a different story or legend that will surprise you. You will admire the migratory birds that inhabit its dense vegetation such as the Roseate spoonbill, Jacanas, Ibis, White, Gray, Blue and Tiger Herons, Cranes, Pelicans, Seagulls, Diving Ducks and Kingfisher, in the way you can observe little towns of fishers, descendants of Africans. Continue the tour across the canal del Corral to arrive to the community of Chacahua, place of great natural beauty, you will visit the beautiful beach of Chacahua where you will have time enough to swim and enjoy a delicious meal based on fish and shellfish. Once we are ready, you will aboard in return and finish the tour.
