TAXCO + TEOTIHUACAN & GUADALUPE SHRINE (2 DAYS)
Panoramic tour in Cuernavaca, the city of the eternal spring, to visit one of the oldest Cathedrals in America, the Palace of Cortes, its mansions and avenues. From there we will continue to the Sierra Madre to visit one of its treasures: Taxco, known as the “World Silver Capital”, visit the famous Baroque parish church of Santa Prisca, its cobblestoned streets and the silver artwork of its people.
We will start our tour by visiting the Plaza de las three cultures, where the past and the present are mixed, from there we will continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacán, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the citadel and the avenue of the dead. We will also visit a craft workshop where that includes information about handicrafts of obsidian and jade and a local traditional drinks elaboration (Including tasting of Mezcal, Tequila, and Pulque), Upon returning to the city, we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patron Saint of America.
