A three day trip to the enigmatic Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Coba, Uxmal, Kabah, Chichen Itza, and a beautiful Colonial cities like Merida and Valladolid, this tour has been created for those interested in learning more about the people that inhabit the southeast of Mexico: the Yucatan Peninsula will transport us to the past to discover the secrets of a great civilization: THE MAYAS
DAY 1. CANCÚN / TULUM / COBA / MÉRIDA

Departure from Cancun to Merida, we will visit TULUM in the south of Cancun. This Mayan city built on the seashore was important for the great commercial network the Mayas established with Central America. After this we head towards COBA the largest Mayan city of the peninsula which was the commercial land controller of its time by a huge network of roads; the longest goes for 100 km—connecting the site with other important cities of their time. The day ends in MERIDA for the night. Lodging.
DAY 2. MÉRIDA/ UXMAL / KABAH / MÉRIDA
Breakfast. Departure from Merida to UXMAL; the thrice built city of the Maya of the southern lands of Yucatan better known as the “Puuc region” Mayan word for “highlands”. The governor’s house and the temple of the magician are considered architectural wonders by experts for their precise construction and beauty. An unforgettable experience walking in one of the most decorated and beautiful cities the Maya built. KABAH is also part of the “Puuc region” characterized by the prominence of “Chaac”, the rain god, who is venerated, conjured and evoked through the magical repetition of this image. It will also be part of our day. Return to Merida. Overnight.

DAY 3. CHICHÉN ITZÁ / VALLADOLID

Breakfast. On the way back to Cancun we visit the archaeological site of CHICHÉN ITZÁ the “Month of the Well of the Itzaes” with its impressive constructions: the splendid Castle or Pyramid of Kukulcán which is a great example of the advanced civilization that lived there, the Ball Game. The Observatory and the Sacred Well will take your breath away. VALLADOLID, a colonial city founded in 1543 will be visited before the final descent back to Cancun.
