Are you interested in exploring the Mayan World in Mexico? We will visit Mérida, Uxmal, Izamal and Chichen Itzá in the Yucatan Peninsula.
DAY 1. CANCÚN / UXMAL / MÉRIDA
07:15 Hrs. From the lobby of your hotel in Cancun, we will head to the magnificent archaeological site of UXMAL, an ancient Mayan city of the classic period that is characterized for being one of the most important sites of this culture. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a regional restaurant and finally, we will transfer to Merida to give you an explanation of the Plaza Grande and then check in at the hotel. Lodging
DAY 2. MÉRIDA / IZAMAL / CHICHÉN ITZA / CANCÚN
Breakfast. After checking out at the hotel, we will visit the city of Merida before heading to IZAMAL; a city founded in 1553 by the Franciscan monks, builders of the 16th century convent dedicated to San Antonio de Padua. Izamal has one of the largest atriums in the world, designed on a large Mayan platform. Then we will move to the Chichen Itza Ruins to visit and explore the Castle, the Ball Court, the Sacred Cenote and the Observatory, our certified guide will always accompany us and reveal the Secrets of this great civilization: the Mayas.
