DAY OF THE DEAD MORELIA

Breakfast. We will experience the traditional Day of the Dead celebrations in Michoacán by visiting Cuanajo, where the festivities center around the Caballito offering. This is a small wooden horse decorated with flowers, bread, and fruit, which is offered to the soul to take with it on its return to the underworld. Afterwards, we will head to Arocutin where we will visit a cemetery, the only one that still has its cemetery inside the church courtyard, to enjoy a night full of tradition. Return to Morelia.
